REGIONAL CARPENTERS' COUNCIL STANDS WITH SLATER FOR ASSEMBLY


YORKTOWN, NY – The North Atlantic Regional Council of Carpenters have endorsed Matt Slater for the 94th Assembly District. The Council represents more than 28,000 members who are dedicated to their craft and set the hifhest standards for skills in the construction industry.


Scott Smith, Business Manager for NASRCC Local 279 said, "We are pleased to endorse Matt Slater for the 94th Assembly District. Mr. Slater has been a friend of labor throughout his career in public service. We are confident he will be a strong partner in helping us craft meaninful legislation that will preserve fair labor standards and protect our members from unscruplous employers who do not pay a fair wage. He is the right candidate for our members and we llok forward to working with him."


"Having the support of the skilled workers of NASRCC is an incredible honor," Slater said. "These are professional craftsman who build our communities, fix our infrastructure and fuel our state's economy. It is going to take a strong partnership between government leaders and the private sector to combat the inflation that is killing jobs and making hardworking families vulnerable. Slater is the endorsed Republican and Conservative candidate having successfully turned in five times the required number of signatures to be on the ballot. The 94th Assembly District includes Carmel, Kent, Patterson, Putnam Valley, Somers, Southeast and parts of Yorktown.


Election Day is November 8th.
