Assemblyman Matt Slater (R,C-Yorktown) recently celebrated Holly Real Estate officially being recognized in the New York State Historic Business Preservation Registry after successfully nominating the Kent business for the statewide honor. Slater also presented the company with a New York State Assembly proclamation recognizing both its induction into the registry and more than 50 years of serving families throughout the Hudson Valley.
Founded in 1974 in the Town of Kent, Holly Real Estate has established itself as one of the region's most trusted real estate firms, known for its local market expertise and service to residents throughout Putnam, Westchester and southern Dutchess counties. In nominating the company, Slater recognized its decades of professionalism, community leadership and dedication to helping families navigate one of life’s most important decisions. Following the state's approval, Holly Real Estate became one of New York's newest Historic Business Preservation Registry honorees.
“For more than five decades, Holly Real Estate has helped generations of families find a place to call home while building a reputation for integrity and outstanding service,” said Slater. “I was proud to nominate Holly Real Estate for the New York State Historic Business Preservation Registry because of the lasting impact it has had on our community and the Hudson Valley. I'm grateful the state recognized that legacy and congratulate everyone who has helped make this milestone possible.”
Robert Bradley at Holly Real Estate said, “We want to thank all of our wonderful customers over these 52 years. Without them, we would not have stayed in business in this area. Thanks to Assemblyman Slater and to New York State for recognizing us as a historic business. We look forward to serving the community many more years with our award-winning customer service.”
For more than 50 years, Holly Real Estate has provided trusted guidance and local expertise to buyers and sellers throughout the Hudson Valley. Its commitment to professionalism, personalized service and deep understanding of the regional housing market has made the company a respected resource for generations of residents.
Established by New York state in 2020, the Historic Business Preservation Registry recognizes businesses that have operated for at least 50 years and have contributed to the history, heritage and identity of their communities. Holly Real Estate's induction celebrates both its more than five decades of service and its lasting contributions to the communities it has served.
