MOHEGAN LAKE, NY – The Lake Mohegan Professional Firefighters Local 2956 have endorsed Matt Slater for the 94th Assembly District.
Kenneth See, President of Local 2956 said, "Matt Slater is a proven leader who always looks out for the betterment of our members. During the COVID-19 pandemic he worked diligently to ensure we had the necessary equipment so we could safely continue to help those in need. Supervisor Slater has a been great partner and will be a terrific advocate for professional fire fighters in the New York State Assembly."
"It is an honor to receive the support of the brave members of Local 2956," Slater said. "These men and women constantly go above and beyond when our neighbors are in need. I am proud of the partnership we have built and look forward to being their voice in the New York State Assembly."
Slater is the endorsed Republican and Conservative candidate having successfully turned in five times the required number of signatures to be on the ballot. He has earned prominent endorsements including LIUNA, the Affiliated Police Assoication of Westchester, North Atlantic Council of Carpenters and the Westchester County Correction Officers Benevolent Association.
The 94th Assembly District includes Carmel, Kent, Patterson, Putnam Valley, Somers, Southeast and parts of Yorktown. Election Day is November 8th
